CAVEPM 2017 Conference Theme

Epidemiology in Complex Systems: One Health approaches to solving complex issues in Public Health, Productions Animal Health, and Ecosystem Health.

Description

The University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM) is excited to be hosting the annual conference for the Canadian Association of Veterinary Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine (CAVEPM) for the first time.

Established in 2005, UCVM was founded on the principles of One Health with a mission to meet the veterinary, animal, and public health needs of Alberta.

We are pleased to welcome colleagues from across the country to join us for a dynamic discussion of the use of epidemiology for solving complex One Health issues. We invite abstracts on all topics related to epidemiology, particularly highlighting its use in Public Health, Production Animal Health, and Ecosystem Health.
